So I just saw The Punisher.......BAD@$$!!!!

I was kind of hestiate to check the movie out because the first one was so poorly done (I think I walked out cause it was so awful) But after seeing the remake of The Hulk It really got my hopes up.
Let me tell you ......... I WAS NOT DISSAPOINTED. THAT MOVIE WAS BAD @$$ FROM START TO FINISH,I REALLY MEAN THAT........ RIGHT FROM THE FRICKEN START!! In the opening credits they showed him casting selfmade Hollowpoints!!!:ok: I am not going to spoil the movie.......... but I got to tell you the level of realism in it was something That I cant even recall anything approaching one tenth of what was going down in The Punisher. This was not some hollywood stunt where one stab of a blade kills the bad guy or one bullet dose the job. No no no no........ This is some shyt where the victim gets shanked repeatedly and when you get shot the first time you go into shock and start convulsing on the floor only to have The Punisher walk up and put the killshot between the eyes. Oh ......did I forget to mention guns p0rn?? Sweet Mother Mary........ I Gurantee even the hardcore vets will be researching after they see it because there will be at least three guns you wont know. This flick is so bad@$$ you could litterally could sponser a "movie night" at your Gun Range because that is only venue where it will truly be appreciated. Disclaimer: This flick is NOT for anybody with a weak stomach or who cant handle wanton violence ........ let me tell you up front right now..... NOBODY GETS SPARED.... you know when you see a movie you can some how figure out who is gonna live?? I mean they can get banged up pretty badly but you know they will make it?? That concept dose not register in this movie at all ......... Everyone can get whacked.You will see exactly what I mean by this if you check it out. I think that is why I like it so much cause for the first time in a loooooooooooooog time I saw a flim that truly reflects what happens in the world...... Horrible things can and do happen to good people and we are left behind to some how make sense of it ..... I truly appreciate the Viscious, raw,cold,seedy,animalistic,grit factor displayed throughout the movie. So.........Your Homework assignment is SEE THE PUNISHER AND REPORT BACK. Do it for three reasons: #1 Because the Violence in this movie is so "off the charts" I dont think it is going to last long in the cinema's.... there is a select group that will be able to appreciate what this flim brings to life. #2 Take the challenge.......Test your knowlege of what you know!!!........ You will see something in there you cant identfy. #3 On a morbid note......... I think this may be the last true Gun lovers flick we may ever see in the country. With Obama coming in I really dont think it will be too far of stretch to see the Gun ban extending to the silver screen in some manner .......I can see there twisted logic......Well since we have good "common sense gun laws".....we should have good "common sense movies laws too"..... no need to see a picture that shows brandishing of assualt rifiles.We have to protect our childern from ever even developing ideas about guns ofr any type.:36_1_28: THE PUNISHER........SEE IT. |

It's too bad first one sucked so much. The last 5 minutes was the best part. It felt more like a chick-flick. Rather than making a movie for the guys, it's like they were trying to make a movie that guys can watch with their girls. It's a shame, too. Thomas Jane is one hell of an actor. His role in the movie "Thursday" was incredible. Thomas Jane is a huge Punsher fan and he actually declined an offer to star in the second one because he was less than pleased with how the first one turned out. Good call! Yeah, I'm sure I'll be checking this one out.

First one was bad but watchable.
I am too poor right now to go and watch this, will wait for it to come out and see it on Redbox for free. Sucks the movie freakin bombed in theatres this weekend. The guy playing the Punisher is badass, great actor from the TV show Rome and was also in the movie King Arthur. This movie doing so bad is gonna hurt his career though. |

I didn't think the last movie was too terrible, though. I'm a big Punisher fan, and there was a long stretch that the comic got reeeeeal cheezy, so the movie was nuthin'. i thought it was alright, i just didn't like the liberty that they took on his origin. origins should be sacred in comic book characters, i think. anyways, the last movie was a freaking awesome movie compared to the first Punisher movie... (the one with Dolf Lundgren...) But i was holding up high hopes for this one! I hope it's as good as you say TA! |

Hey man, thanks for the Review.......I rarely watch movies these days because I'm sooooo disgusted with the crappy plots & Hollydorks relying on special effects to make up for a bad movie.
Anyhow, a good amount of gun prOn will carry a movie for me so I'll check it out ! Saw WANTED last night and that shyt looked real - as for wounds.......the action was Super-Hero stuff and won't fly in real life. The curving bullets was lame for me but of course, Angelina Jolie was HOT. Frank Castle kickin' azz gets my blood flowin - thanks TA ! |

Not much you can do with the 40mm right there where the off hand should go. Not to mention that the mag well is an alright position on the AR platform. It's not recommended on an AK platform since there's no mag well and you can get mag bite on your fingers, but on an AR, that mag well is going no where. |

The Punisher's Weapons This would take me hours to do, so it will be one of the last things I add and it won't be done very well. Plus I need to get my hands on some copies of The Punisher Armory (I will later put pictures), but here's my short list:Weapons: The Punisher constantly employs an arsenal of portable weaponry. His most commonly used personal weapons are the Vietnam era M16 automatic rifle in .223 caliber; a Sterling Mark 69mm, 34-round clip fed, semi-automatic rifle converted to automatic fire; a 14-round, 9mm Browning Llama automatic pistol; a Government issue .45 caliber automatic frame re-chambered for 9mm ammunition with a replaceable barrel to convert it to .223 caliber ammunition; and a 4-shot derringer in .223 caliber (Thus, he needs to carry only two types of ammunition.) The Punisher sometimes carries a Smith &Wesson .357 revolver and ammunition in place of the Browning Llama. He normally carries a strapped down, Biachi speed-draw bolstered Browning pistol at his hip, and an ankle holster containing his re-chambered .45 pistol. The derringer is secreted in various places at various times. The Punisher also carries several M26 fragmentation grenades, several custom-designed concussion grenades, plus small, custom-designed tear-gas grenades which are secured in pouches lining his shoulders. He carried a MASSIVE 357 that I have never seen before it was sliver and hand a missle shape to the front.
